They met at a friend's birthday in March and were engaged by June. A year later, eighty guests climbed a hill of vines to watch them say yes.
Getting ready happened in an old stone farmhouse, with the windows open and a playlist of their parents' wedding songs. Noah wrote his vows on the back of a wine label; Amelia read hers from her phone and laughed through the first line.
“We wanted it to feel like a long lunch with everyone we love. It did.”
Dinner ran late under a pergola of lights, the speeches were short and the dancing wasn't. We left at two in the morning with the band still playing.
